after being annoyed for a good part of the evening because I couldnt find my light meter to take some pics of my new work I just decieded to wing it. Here are some of the pics. I think they turned out pretty good! All of these have been made since the beginning of December.
Wow Marilee like me December has been a productive month, for you !!. Well done on the show in S.Korea. Will come back tomorrow to have a better look. Now I am going to bed !!
ReplyDeleteHello again Marilee here I am again just like I said. been at the print workshop today and spent the whole time getting plates cut and talking to other colleagues about how to do various things that I've been having trouble with. Then spent ages sanding and rubbing copper plate and then polishing it even got the electric buffer etc out. Think its ready now for a drypoint.
ReplyDeleteI would love to know what the final print looks like when its larger as it stands I clicked on it and nothing happened unlike prints 1 2 and 3. Also what technique have you used with it.

hey! Unsure why that one will not get bigger. I can try and re-upload it and see if that helps? That one is wood lithography, digital and multiple shaped etching and and relief etching plates.

ReplyDeleteoh ya, glad to hear that your doing a lot of work in the studio! I tend to not bother with all of that plate prep, I file the edges and use a bit of whiting, then salt and vinegar and create my image.
