I went to Seattle for this conference a week and a half ago or so. Lets see, I was put in a super fancy room, it was a suite, had 2 flat screen tvs. I was unsure what to do with them considering my tiny TV is unplugged and sitting in a corner covered by a bunch of art stuff. Kinda funny.
I went to China Town one morning, wandered around bought a little Buddha statue to put on my alter. I also bought some lovely wasabi peas and sesame cakes, Very tasty. Oh and some sea veggies for my fish. :)
I also got to go to the art museum, sculpture park and galleries. The Best show was called Black Art There is the link, only one image though on the link,
A very good show, it discussed a lot of important questions related to race and the idea of "black". Read = if your interested.
So Ive been back for a bit, this Friday is NYC! Only a day trip though. Stay tuned.
